Bang, bang, banggity bang, I said bang bang banggity bang.

Welcome fellow bloggers, it's been awhile. Sorry it's been so long since we've updated but as usual, life has been crazy. A lot has happened over the past few months.

Most importantly, Shawna and Brian got married! Congratulations to them! Not only did we get to celebrate that but we got to see family we haven't seen in years which was awesome! The photographer hasn't finished editing all the photos but here are a few of the ones I do have.

Shawna, me, Dad and Julie.

Brian, Shawna, Dad, me and Paul.

Over the summer we both worked full time so we didn't have a lot of free time (sad, I know). But with the little time we did have we...

Visited Emily and Trevor in Rexburg, ID and celebrated the 4th of July with them.
Paul got a sinus infection. I think he is allergic to them.
We explored a cave. It was really cold a dark.
We ran into Shelly and Chase at the fireworks.
Overall, awesome visit.

Sarah, Chandra and I were reunited for the first time in 3 years in Utah! Of all the places. Who would've thought that would happen. As for the picture, Sarah was just so happy to see us she cried! Or she had her first experience with allergies, you decide.

Paul and I both had summer work parties. Mine (Jesse's) was way cooler because we went to boondocks which is basically an adult playground. Andi hung out with us the whole time because we are awesome. This is Andi. She is the coolest 18 year old I know.

Chandra visited (for the second time) from California. Miss her like crazy!

.

Cassie had her baby shower in which Caitlin, the lady on the left, and I made the winning play-dough baby.

I felt like I was 13 again by going to the Backstreet Boys concert with Shawna and Christine.

Annnnnnnnnd, Shawna's bachlorette party!

As for everything I don't have pictures of.....
We have a new love for swamp coolers. It kept us cool all summer.

We still have 3 cats and one plant. We are very proud of ourselves for not killing any living species we have been entrusted with.

I found an amazing bath tub cleaner, our dirt devil still treats us well, and we bought new sheets and a bed. The combination feels like we are sleeping on a cloud.

We bought a second car. Paul got to drive it and he loves it.

I (Jesse) just had my 22nd birthday which was wonderful. Don't tell Paul, but he is the best husband in the world and made my birthday perfect.

But the most important thing of all, over anything else that happened over the past few months, is that I became a Spice Girl.

Which apparently blogger doesn't want me to upload so I will try again later.

Please pray for us that it doesn't snow soon and thanks for reading.

Swarley

Hello blogger world. It has been almost two months since our last update. We decided we should probably get on that.

I, Jesse, finished my first year of college but I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. However, I finished with good grades and am on the right track. I also got hired on as a full time employee at Sprinkler World. That's right, I know all about sprinklers.

I'm still employed. - Paul.

So life at the Shin residence has been pretty calm. Which is nice. We have an awesome new mattress. It's like the Mercedes Benz of Mattresses. It's big, and comfy, and I never want to leave it. We still have 3 cats, and 1 small tree. I recently found a group of volleyball players, so that's always fun.

We were treated to Tucanos.

Still friends with Jirik and Caitlin. They still have more games than anyone we know. We also managed to get them out of their cave into the real world for a date night of bowling. We went with our other friends Cassie, John, Ananda, and Matt. These are real friends that we didn't make up and have pictures to prove it.

We had our hair highlighted and colored. I put red in mine while Jess added more blonde.

We found another couple to play games with. Jen and Dave. They work with Paul.

And most importantly, we would like to welcome Jesse's sister Shawna to blogging world. Oh yeah, and congratulate her and Brian on their engagement.

Well, Paul said he's having major writers block so I'm just going to post pictures from various adventures.

To Blogfinity... and beyond...

Updates in life...

I, Paul, got a job. It's full time, pay's decent, and has full benefits. And it doesn't require calling random people at home during dinner time or selling any of my body to science. Also, I turned 24 a little while ago. According to my mother, I only have 1 year left until my brain is fully mature... whatever that means. Also, I hung out with Rap Artist MIMS.

Jess, on the other hand, has not had a birthday or a job. Also, she is not pregnant, unlike most of our other friends. We would have said ALL of our other friends, but there's a few guys in there, and that would be awkward.

We also picked up our first hitch hiker ever. We gave her a 4 block ride to a Taco Bell. She seemed nice, in a homeless kind of way.

Mostly we just go and play games at Jaitlin's house. Lately we've been Galaxy Trucking, Robot Rallying, Catching Mr. X, Poisoning each other, and "wii"ing.

Life is mostly good. We're really living the "poor married couple in college" thing as best we can. We still seem to love each other, and can stand to be in the same room most of the time. Also, we've celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary.

We're considering switching our phone service to Sprint, we wish the weather was warmer, we love Dirt Devil vacuum cleaners, the word "vacuum" looks odd, Wal-Mart is our Anti Drug, Redbox is basically becoming a part of our daily routine, and not too much else has happened in our life - which is a nice change.

Thanks for checking in, all's well here, hope things are at least ok for you.

PS Jaitlin - you're great.

"...getting to old for this [stuff]..."

Pulling an all-nighter is no longer as cool or awesome as I remember. Unfortunately the amount of dumb things said after 2 AM doesn't decrease with age.

And I'm sure you'd want me to elaborate, explain who was there, where this event took place, the oh-so-funny-at-the-time moments, and the people who were involved. Unfortunately for you, I have no desire to give you anything to blackmail me with. =P I will say this though, yes, Jesse was there and took place. And get your mind out of the gutter.

Paul.

Dedicated to: Emily Elizabeth James Eggbert Coudron Perkes Junior the 3rd

Dear EEJECP Jr. the 3rd,
This is your dedicated blog. Enjoy.

Paul and Jess.

P.S. - Although short, notice you're the only one to get a dedicated blog. EVER.

The Most Awe... Wait for it... Some Blog Ever.

So welcome back to all our loyal blog followers. Mostly just you. Actually just you. And you know exactly who you are. Anyways, we couldn't remember how to get into our other accounts, and this one is cooler anyways. Like they always say, third time's a charm.

Anyways, just to fill you in on where we're at in life. We're awesome. Period. Realistically, we could end our blog there.

In our last 2 blogs, we left off somewhere in California, where we were not as awesome as we are here. So the last 1 1/2 years in 100 words or less.

Crappy job in awesome place in California. Jess and I went to Disneyland, rode rides. Jess and I moved back to Utah. We lived under a mortuary. We got married, not in the mortuary. We moved to a better apartment and now live in a quaint little place behind a taco bell and across the street from a 7-11. We have 2 cats, not the same as before. In school. The cats are not in school, we are. That's pretty much it.

So now that everyone is caught up to the present, let's continue the story here. Today I (Paul) tried to teach our cat how to kill a spider and flush it down the toilet. Sorry to any and all PETA fans. Anyways, after 20 unsuccessful minutes of trying to teach the cat that, I ended up flushing it down the toilet myself. Unfortunately, the cat doesn't seem to remember that and is currently in the process of rearranging our bathroom in the hunt for the spider. She's been at it for atleast 20 minutes.

Jess and I have also recently begun a board game revolution. Well, maybe not a revolution, we just play alot with another couple. So yes, in case you're asking, we live together in a one bedroom apartment, own 2 cats, and play boardgames with another couple for fun on the weekends. I know, you're wondering how we got so awesome, and honestly, I just don't know. And, these board games are great resume builders, in the last week or so, Jess and I have become proficient at hunting for werewolves, fending off major zombie attacks, surviving the fast paced world of bean farming, and saved the world from a major pandemic. Again, I know, it's hard to imagine a life where two such amazing and awesome people, and their cats, can exist. If I didn't know us personally, I wouldn't have believed it myself.

Mostly other than that life is the same, we're still friends with most of the same people. We hate everyone who doesn't read our blog. And we still hate about 1/2 of the people who do read our blog. And yes, you can buy our love. We accept cash, checks, and most forms of major credit cards. OH, we have a couple of new friends as well.

We'll introduce you, in alphabetical order.

Ananda - Yes that is spelled correctly. She's short, works with old people, and just figured out how to use an iPod.

Andrew - Security Guard. And my personal body guard when required.

Austin - Drummer boy.

Caitlin - Commands hordes of Zombies. And oddly good at choosing board games. Also teaches 2nd Grade and is currently the only employed person we know.

Cassie - She's short and loud. Farms blue beans.

Jesse - Sings like a champ. Layers his voice. Loves his KIA. Not my wife.

Jirik - Slowly shrinking. Can't eat bread. Hits on rolls of 4+.

Tiffany - May be the best Mario Kart 64 driver in the current world. Unfortunately she hasn't realized that new and other gaming systems are out. Also is probably the skinniest fatty food eater I know. Burns tables.

Well that pretty much sums up all our new friends. I think we still have a few old ones somewhere. Old as in we've been friends for awhile, not old as in a Senior Citizen. That's Ananda's thing.

I love my wife.

Bye.

P.S. - Jesse says we're awesome.
