SUMMER

Hello Blogger World,
It's summertime! Well, about halfway through but it's time to update the family again. If you aren't family, you can read it too but be warned - there are a lot of pictures! Either way here is an update in the world of Mr. and Mrs. Awesome in no particular order.

Most importantly - Congratulations to Paul on his promotion at work! I am so proud of him!

In early spring we decided to take a trip to California and enjoy the beach, a delicious seafood meal on the beach, and Six Flags.

This is the delicious sea food. Oh right, and we went with our awesome friends Tim and Lisa.

On our way to and from California we stopped in Vegas for a little shopping, another delicious meal at one of the casinos and a tour of the Hoover Dam. Below we are watching the water show at the Bellagio.

Hoover Dam photos below...

Back in Utah, Tim and Lisa bought us tickets to the Salt Lake Real Soccer team for Paul's birthday! Luckily, I got one too!

Mr. and Mrs. Tisa (Tim and Lisa)

A few weeks later Emily came to visit! We ate at "The Mayan Adventure" Restaurant. They perform multiple shows during your meal.

Paul spoiled me with a new wedding ring! It took me almost 5 months to find but he was very patient and I love it!

We also got a new car! It's a Hyundai Elantra. I'll have to get some photos from Paul. He's been doing some work on it and it looks even better than when we bought it.

In Utah, every town has their own "City Days." We decided to be good neighbors and go to the Springville events. Ananda decided to join us for the parade.

Later that day we went to the Carnival. Paul won me a pelican. His name is Pelican.

Then we got hungry and went to a BBQ place there. Yummy!!

After eating, we were lucky enough to see Due West perform! Shawna is close friends with Matt (the center guy) and I met his wife a couple years ago so I was pretty stoked to see them live. They did a fantastic job! I even bought their cd.

Thennnnnnnnn fireworks! Tisa joined us for the fireworks.

Carnival lights.

A month or so after the carnival we got on a plane and flew to Tampa, Florida where....

We went on a cruise! Now this isn't just any cruise - this is the Carnival Inspiration. We traveled to the Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel. Not only that but there were 23 of us total! Below are a bunch of random photos.

We made a animal towel wedding. Below two turtles are getting married. The girl turtle has an elephant as her maid of honor and the boy turtle has a dinosaur.

The wedding guests are a rabbit, frog, and robot (robot made by the famous John Shin).

We had a little ceremony basically welcoming me into the family. It was wonderful!

There are really no words to express how awesome this vacation was! I loved meeting a large amount of Paul's family.

The following week we decided we weren't ready to work 5 days so we took Friday off and went to California! We stayed with Rosemary and I got to see my Dad and Julie! We went to Six Flags, the beach, and enjoyed all the time in between. Unfortunately most photos were taken by people other than me... but here are a couple.

Angry Bird hat.

Korean BBQ with Paul and Rosemary. I never thought I'd crave Korean but I have since Christmas!

Shopping on Venice Beach.

Well that's all I can remember! Unfortunately this wasn't a very amusing post but it's an easy way to keep everyone updated. Thanks for reading!

Bang, bang, banggity bang, I said bang bang banggity bang.

Welcome fellow bloggers, it's been awhile. Sorry it's been so long since we've updated but as usual, life has been crazy. A lot has happened over the past few months.

Most importantly, Shawna and Brian got married! Congratulations to them! Not only did we get to celebrate that but we got to see family we haven't seen in years which was awesome! The photographer hasn't finished editing all the photos but here are a few of the ones I do have.

Shawna, me, Dad and Julie.

Brian, Shawna, Dad, me and Paul.

Over the summer we both worked full time so we didn't have a lot of free time (sad, I know). But with the little time we did have we...

Visited Emily and Trevor in Rexburg, ID and celebrated the 4th of July with them.
Paul got a sinus infection. I think he is allergic to them.
We explored a cave. It was really cold a dark.
We ran into Shelly and Chase at the fireworks.
Overall, awesome visit.

Sarah, Chandra and I were reunited for the first time in 3 years in Utah! Of all the places. Who would've thought that would happen. As for the picture, Sarah was just so happy to see us she cried! Or she had her first experience with allergies, you decide.

Paul and I both had summer work parties. Mine (Jesse's) was way cooler because we went to boondocks which is basically an adult playground. Andi hung out with us the whole time because we are awesome. This is Andi. She is the coolest 18 year old I know.

Chandra visited (for the second time) from California. Miss her like crazy!

.

Cassie had her baby shower in which Caitlin, the lady on the left, and I made the winning play-dough baby.

I felt like I was 13 again by going to the Backstreet Boys concert with Shawna and Christine.

Annnnnnnnnd, Shawna's bachlorette party!

As for everything I don't have pictures of.....
We have a new love for swamp coolers. It kept us cool all summer.

We still have 3 cats and one plant. We are very proud of ourselves for not killing any living species we have been entrusted with.

I found an amazing bath tub cleaner, our dirt devil still treats us well, and we bought new sheets and a bed. The combination feels like we are sleeping on a cloud.

We bought a second car. Paul got to drive it and he loves it.

I (Jesse) just had my 22nd birthday which was wonderful. Don't tell Paul, but he is the best husband in the world and made my birthday perfect.

But the most important thing of all, over anything else that happened over the past few months, is that I became a Spice Girl.

Which apparently blogger doesn't want me to upload so I will try again later.

Please pray for us that it doesn't snow soon and thanks for reading.
